Email SSL Warning Thursday 30th September 2021 15:40:00

We are aware of an SSL issue affecting IMAP access to emails for some users.

The cause of this issue is an expiry in the SSL certificate provider's root certificate. We're working with our provider for a resolution.

Your emails and data are safe. The issue is with the upstream SSL certificate outside of your service.

We will continue to provide additional updates as this incident develops.

In the meantime email access via Ecenica Webmail is available.

We thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The issue with the expiry of the Let's Encrypt Root certificate has been resolved by our upstream providers.

If you are still experiencing issues please open a support ticket

Our upstream SSL certificate provider, Let's Encrypt have provided have provided updates to fix this issue with email apps marking certificates as invalid. We've rolled the fix out and we're now watching to ensure service returns to normal.

As a workaround to the upstream fault at Let's Encrypt, the SSL provider, we’re reissuing SSL certificates with an alternative provider.

Due to the issue impacting thousands of web hosts and millions of users, it’s taking longer than normal.

We're continuing to work with our SSL provider Let's Encrypt for a resolution to the issue.

We'll post further updates as and when they become available.
